    How to update motorola phone software


    softwares required: rsd-lite-38, any shx file which will be uploaded to your phone

    download rsd lite-38
    download motorola files (forL7 only)

    1. charge ur phone battery upto 75%
    2. now remove the memory card and ur sin card from ur phone
    3. press * # and the red key exactly together , a bootloader screen will appear:

    4. connect your phone with your computer and open rsd lite
    5. browse for shx file which u want to update . (shx file is the software)
    download software for L7 only)
    6 click the start button n ur process will start wait till the status will display pass
    u have completed ur process n now enjoy the new look of ur phone

    (A) Manual for running three corelets

    > To run Itunes >Press itunes menu icon or press menu+5

    > To run Virtual Corelet>Run Itunes>Press 0 & wait for 10 seconds>Press menu+4 & wait for 20 seconds>Press menu+5, Virtual Corelet will be loaded>If its not loaded press Itunes menu icon

    > To run Media Viewer >Run Itunes/Virtual Corelet > Press 0 & wait for 10 seconds>Press menu+4 & wait for 20 seconds>Press menu+5, Media Viewer will be loaded>If its not loaded press Itunes menu icon


    (B) Manual for Advanced Night Mode

    1. Advanced Night Mode
    Controlled by seem 004a_0001, offset 92
    Set offset value to
    00 = for normal functions of Night Mode
    01 = Airplane Mode joins with Night Mode
    02 = Automatic Keypad Lock joins with Day Mode
    03 = Both Airplane Mode joins with Night Mode and Automatic Keypad Lock joins with Day Mode
    2. Night Mode:
    Controlled by seem 004a_0001
    > Offset 93:- Put the number for beginning hour of the night mode (e.g. 00 =12 am, 01=1 am)
    > Offset 96:- Put the number for style (e.g. 00=loud, 04=silent)
    3. Day Mode:
    Controlled by seem 004a_0001
    > Offset 94:- Put the number for beginning hour of the Day mode
    > Offset 97:- Put the number for style
    3.Styles
    ---- Loud----------------00
    ---- Soft-----------------01
    ---- Vibrate-------------02
    ---- Vibr then ring-----03
    ---- Silent---------------04
    ---- Vibr & ring--------05
    4. Note
    > For Night mode if u put the number more than 11, then style does not change, if the number is more
    than 5, then the style changes by the number minus 6 and the airplane mode can be operated, Otherwise
    the style changes by the number indicated)
    > For Day mode, if u put the number more than 5, then style does not change, and also, if the if the airplane mode is switched on it turns it off. Otherwise the style changes by the number indicated)

    5. I have edited 004a_0001 seem which will put your phone in vibrating mode + airplane mode at 12am and loud mode + automatic keypad lock at 5am.


    (C) Manual for Black List

    > You need to change the Settings>Security>Restrict calls>Outgoing calls/Incoming calls
    > Allow all=everybody can call u
    > Allow None=nobody can call u
    > Allow Phone Book= Phone numbers in the black list category in phone book cant call u, but others can.


    (D) Manual for auto switch track in Audio Player

    Set Auto Repeat off in sound setup to get it operational
    Its controlled by seem 004a_0001, offset A0
    Set offset value to
    0= No switch track
    1= Switch track forward
    2= Switch track backward
